Privacy policy

Planno is built to need as little data as possible.

No accounts

You don't create an account or give us an email address. The name you type is stored in your own browser so you don't have to retype it, and is shared only with the people in your session.

Sessions

Session data (room name, participant names and votes) is kept in server memory only while the session is in use, and is deleted after the room has been inactive for about an hour. We don't keep a history of your estimates.

Browser storage

Planno stores a few values in your browser's local storage: your display name, a random anonymous identifier that lets you rejoin your seat after a refresh, and your theme and layout preferences. None of these identify you personally.

Analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics to understand how the product is used (for example, how many sessions are created) and may show ads via Google AdSense. These services may set cookies. You can opt out with your browser's privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
