How planning poker works
- 1
Start a session
Type your name and start. Share the invite link and your team joins in one click, with no sign-up.
- 2
Vote privately
Everyone picks a card at the same time. Cards stay face down until the host reveals them, so nobody anchors the team.
- 3
Reveal & discuss
See the average, the agreement level and the spread. Talk through the outliers, re-vote, and move to the next story.

Do my teammates need to sign up?+
No. Nobody needs an account. Start a session, share the invite link, and teammates join by typing their name.
How many people can join a planning poker session?+
There is no fixed limit. Planno is used by small squads of three and by larger refinement meetings with fifteen or more people.
Which estimation scales are supported?+

Can someone watch without voting?+
Yes. Observer mode lets a Product Owner, Scrum Master or stakeholder follow the session without voting and without affecting the average.

Planno keeps your seat for a short time. When you come back from the same browser you get your seat, your vote and your host role back automatically.
Does Planno work on phones?+
Yes. Planno works in any modern mobile browser, so remote and hybrid teammates can vote from their phone without installing an app.
Is my data stored?+
Sessions live in memory only while they are in use and are deleted after they become inactive. Planno does not ask for an email address or store your estimates long-term.
